Dr Souvik Kundu, Ph.D.,
Staff Research Scientist, Intel Labs USA
Souvik Kundu (Member IEEE, ACM) received his Ph.D. with the outstanding Ph.D. dissertation award from the Electrical Engineering in University of Southern California USA. He is currently a Staff research scientist at Intel Labs, USA, leading research efforts in scalable and novel AI primitives for foundation models. Souvik received the Rising Star recognition in 2025 from CPAL and Stanford DS. He was among the youngest recipients of the Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC) Outstanding Industry Liaison Award in 2023. Souvik has more than eighty top-venue publications and seven US patents with research interests broadly spanning from AI algorithms to AI hardware acceleration on various compute platforms. Many of his research outcomes have been productized including in Intel hardware and software optimization stack. Souvik serves as the “founding TPC member” of the Conference on Parsimony and Learning (CPAL), TPC member of flagship venues including NeurIPS, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, ICML, and DAC with multiple outstanding reviewer recognitions.

Wan Muhamad Hasni is an entrepreneur by nature, he has developed many businesses throughout his illustrious career spanning over 30 years, managing companies and projects worth over US20 billion. His core field of expertise is in finance, with experience in building up companies, organizations in Malaysia, United States, China, and Southeast Asia. Over the years he was deeply involved and engaged in technology ventures ranging from renewable energy, digital technologies, blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence.
He is an active author in the field of AI, Islamic Knowledge, and economics and finance.
He lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Prof. Dr Asadullah Shah
IIUM Malaysia
Dr. Asadullah Shah is working as a Full Professor in the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of ICT, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Dr. Shah hold PhD degree in the fields of Electronic and Electrical Engineering in 1998 from the University of Surrey, UK. He did MSc in Computer Technology and BSc (Hons) in Electronics from the University of Sindh, Jamshoro Sindh, Pakistan. He has been active researcher throughout his carrier of teaching and research, his experience is spread over a period of 39 years. He has published 350 research articles, 14 books, 170 book chapters and produced 60 PhD students along with 100s of postgraduate Masters students in the fields of computer science and Information Technology. He has been supervising PG students in the fields of IS, CS and ML applications in health care for early predictions of diabetes, lungs cancer, and heart failure of the patients. He has been executive chair of two IEEE conferences since 2014 to date (ICETAS and ICIRD) in collaborations with other prestigious institutions around middle east and southeast Asia. He has been Keynote speaker in various conferences in different parts of the world. Currently he has 18 PhD students under his supervision pursuing PhD degrees in the fields of e-learning, AI, ML, and image processing in low light images in real time. Dr. Shah has been examiner of 100 plus PhD thesis from many countries of the world including Australia, India, Pakistan, and Europe. Dr shah has been Chairing PhD viva sessions at IIUM, teaching many courses in CS and IS. Currently he has been Head of 33 journals of IIUM at IIUM press, Malaysia. Member board of studies, editorial boards of international journals, reviewers of Scopus and WoS indexed journals, referee of professorship promotions for international institutions in Malaysia, Saudi Arab, Pakistan, Iraq, Bahrain and Kuwait.

Prof. Tariq Rahim Soomro

Dr. Tariq Rahim Soomro, Professor of Computer Science, and Rector at Institute of Business Management, has received BSc (Hons) and M.Sc degrees in Computer Science from University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan and his PhD in Computer Applications from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China and became the first Pakistani to receive all three degrees in the field of Computer Science. He has more than 29+ years of extensive and diverse experience as an administrator, computer programmer, researcher, and teacher. As an administrator, He served as Coordinator, Head of Department, Head of Faculty, Dean of Faculty, Head of Academic Affairs and having wide experience in accreditation related matters, including ABET USA, HEC Pakistan, KHDA Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, UAE. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers. He has been a senior member of IEEE since 2005 and IEEE Member since 2000. He is currently serving as Chair IEEE Karachi Section and IEEE Computer Society R10 Southern Area Coordinator of Computer Society. He is member Task Force on Arabic Script IDNs by Middle East Strategy Working Group (MESWG) of ICANN, Member Editorial Board of several research Journals and also served as Technical Program Committee Member of several national and international conferences. He received the ISOC Fellowship to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) for the 68th Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Meeting. He is also the first Pakistani to became IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Visitor (2021-2023) and also became the first and only Pakistani to be selected by the IEEE Computer Society to the ‘Inaugural Class of IEEE Computer Society' as Distinguished Contributor (2021) in the field of Computer Science.

DR. MUNIR AHMAD (Senior Member, IEEE) is a distinguished professional with over 16 years of experience. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the School of Computer Science, National College of Business Administration and Economics, and a Master of Computer Science degree from the Virtual University of Pakistan. As the Executive Director/CIO at United International Group, Lahore, Pakistan, he has excelled in data management and resource optimization within multinational organizations. Munir Ahmad is renowned for his extensive research in sentiment analysis, AI applications in healthcare and animal facial identification. His expertise lies in data mining, big data, and artificial intelligence.

Dr. Liew Voon Kiong

Dr. Liew Voon Kiong is a distinguished authority in Web3, blockchain, and decentralized
finance (DeFi). He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a specialization in ecommerce from the University of South Australia. With deep technical and strategic
expertise, Dr. Liew has advised numerous blockchain enterprises on architecture design,
tokenomics, and the management of IEOs, ICOs, and STOs.
An accomplished author, he has written over 40 books covering topics in programming,
Web3, and blockchain technologies. His domain knowledge spans blockchain-driven
business applications such as supply chain management, smart agriculture, and crossborder transactions. He also possesses practical experience in deploying private blockchain

invited by Cambodia's Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI) to
contribute a chapter to the whitepaper on the nation’s Blockchain Readiness.
His advisory roles include serving as a corporate technical advisor to organizations such as
Datasonic Group Berhad and Whale Labs. Currently, he holds several key positions: Advisor
at RightCliq Solutions Sdn Bhd, Advisory Board Member of the Journal of Metaverse based
in Turkey, and Adjunct Lecturer at Management and Science University (MSU). Additionally,
he is conferred as an Industry Fellow by the Global FinTech Institute in Singapore

Dr. David Zhao

David Zhao currently works for leading hands-on cyber security education platform OffSec as the head of APAC. His work focuses on driving cross-industrial collaboration to promote hands-on cyber security skills within public and private sectors. Before OffSec, he also worked with multiple government and enterprise organisations on vulnerability disclosure and bug bounty programs.
